"John Brian Brake OBE (27 June 1927 – 4 August 1988) was a Iconic New Zealand photographer.
It is a rare sight to see Brian Brake’s house as it is privately owned, but the owners let the Auckland Architect Association bring a number of guests to view the house – The presence of the house stood in a peaceful surround- in a way sort of made me speechless it was utterly beautiful".
